So it's been several years since I've been on here. A lot has happened... Everything from relationship changes, getting a job, and my mental health. The most recent news I have is that I was proposed to. If anyone has seen my previous posts, you'll see I was in a relationship with someone, no surprise. But it's not him, he and I are still super close and best friends and I love him to bits, but things happened and we broke up. The person I'm currently with has proposed to me and is also friends with my previous bf. The two get along really well and it makes me super happy! They've also been working together to keep me sane and functional due to the massive stress I'm always under. I've been trying to deal with some past trauma that involves a lot of child abuse that was done to me by my own family. It's been a struggle, but I've gotten into more friendly and positive spaces that are always trying to improve themselves and help others. I was previously in a group that not only destroyed my mental health, it helped further my distrust in people and made me not want to open up no matter who it was. All in all, I've been slowly getting better and learning how to socialize properly and my hubby has had the biggest helping hand in this. I still have a massive weight on me, but we're doing our best to work on it, one day at a time.
